The Story Behind Team 37
Team 37 was born from a story of family, love, and legacy. It all started with a 1937 Chevy truck, lovingly owned by our grandfather, affectionately known as The Possum. He gifted the truck to his son, who cherished it for 15 years. This year, his grandson was getting married and wanted to restore the truck as a surprise for his grandpa—especially meaningful as The Possum is battling stage 4 prostate cancer—so they could drive off together and create a memory to last a lifetime.
Life had other plans, and the restoration didn’t finish in time for the wedding. But what began as a personal project quickly became something bigger. Every weekend, The Possum would visit to watch the team carefully restore his beloved truck, witnessing each phase of the work. Inspired by these moments, he coined the name Team 37. The project opened the door to a new vision: a restoration service dedicated not just to vehicles, but to preserving history, memories, and family legacies. What started as a gift turned into a dream—and today, Team 37 is a reality. We’re proud to offer our services to clients, restoring classic vehicles with the same love, care, and attention that started it all with The Possum’s 1937 Chevy.
